Comics Illustrator of the Week: Karl Kerschl

Comics Illustrator of the Week: Karl Kerschl

Featured Art(top):   Isola #2 Cover B(2018)

Origin:  A couple decades into his comics career, with many accolades earned along the way(Joe Shuster Award 2010, Eisner Award 2011, etc), Karl Kerschl has, perhaps, embarked on his greatest achievement yet as a storyteller; the brand new original fantasy series, Isola.  With words by longtime bud/collaborator Brandan Fletcher and dazzling colors by Msassyk this looks to be an epic, animated journey on paper!

Base of Operations: Canada

Media:  pen/ink

Credits:  The Abominable Charles Christopher, Dreamworks Animation, Gotham Academy, Netflix, and many more!
