Vinyl Moon is an amazing monthly record subscription featuring highly-curated “mix tapes” presented in freaking gorgeously illustrated and executed packaging, PLUS colored vinyl that will mesmerize you as it spins. I have a few of these records now and I can tell you that I spend a lot of time playing them and appreciating the quality, crafstmanship and care involved in the creation of it.
This particular issue (Volume 18: Intrepid Curves) is an artistic marvel. With insanely intricate illustrations by Samplerman on the jacket AND a 20 page oversized psychedelic thrill ride of a comic book, you can spend hours enjoying it and still have plenty to explore.
And don’t get me started on the music. Vinyl Moon founder Brandon Bogajewicz (who I’ll be interviewing soon on the Escape from Illustration Island Podcast) is just as masterful at curating music as he is the visual art. Look and listen to Volume 8: Intrepid Curves here!
Wow absolutely incredible work there, amazing!
