Rebecca Guay is more than just the sum of her works. Rebecca’s romantic images stand on their own, certainly, and being asked to create this poster for one of the most coveted annuals is a testament to that. Beyond her own work, Rebecca has dedicated heroic efforts to build a thriving and incredibly talented community of artists. She founded the Illustration Master Class, now entering it’s fifth year, and runs a mentorship program for artists looking to take their illustration work to the next level. I am fortunate enough to know Rebecca as a mentor and friend, and I have seen artists simply activate in the environments she has created.
Rebecca also has a new book out, “Flight of Angels,” featuring stories from some of the top authors in comics.
