Sterling is not just a world-reknowned illustrator, teacher, and fine artist, he is something of a maven for illustrators. He released this teaser video that provides a roadmap for his process. I now keep a screenshot of the step-by-step as my desktop background.
Dennis uses traditional and digital media. His portraits are as evocative as they are concise, relying on the media to tell much of his story. He balances that with a keen design sense, and clean graffiti style.
