Illustrator Julian Callos

Julian Callos is an illustrator based in Los Angeles. Influenced  by comics, cartoons, pop culture, and much more. This is such a creative guy! I like his subjects, his colortones and overall his creative flow. He also makes 3D clay puppets as you can see on his blog here: http://www.juliancallos.blogspot.com/

Chris Sickels / Red Nose Studio

Chris Sickels has been freelancing in the editorial and advertising markets for over six years. In 2000, he officially started Red Nose Studio, providing 2-D and 3-D illustration, character design and development, and lo-fi stop motion animation. Clients included: New York Times, Boston Magazine, AARP.

I love his illustrations because of the characters, the subjects, the envirement and sphere of the illustration.  I wonder how long it takes to make one illustration, because it looks so labor-intensive!

Tim Piotrowski, Prolific Editorial Illustrator

http://www.glitchworks.com

Tim Piotrowski’s meticulous, clean look is only more impressive when you consider he has published 86 illustrations in the last 6 months. That’s one high-quality piece of art every 2 days, plus or minus. You might wonder when he sleeps, or if we assume he doesn’t then we might just begin to understand the genius behind his original graphic novel short, “Kool Aid Gets Fired.”

When he is not creating images for magazines or coloring for comics, he blogs about his experiences and revelations in the world of freelance illustration.
