Ronald Searle 1920 – 2011

The world mourns one of its most innovative, distinctive and successful illustrators, cartoonists, and satirists, Ronald Searle has died at the age of 91. Mr. Searle’s long and distinguished career is too long and varied to do justice here, but if you are not familiar with his work this is a sad but good opportunity to seek out it out. Most of the images I have culled are from a Searle Tribute site and there are many news sites with tributes today such as these from the BBC, The Guardian, and The Telegraph.
