Comics Illustrator of the Week: M.W. Kaluta

Origin:  M.W. Kaluta established himself in the early 1970’s as a great visual storyteller on DC Comics adaptation of the classic pulp hero, The Shadow.  In 1980, Kaluta helped design sets, costumes & poster art for Elaine Lee’s sci-fi stage play, Starstruck, which they later adapted into an ongoing comics series.

1st  Appearance(comics):  Flash Gordon #18(Charlton, 1970)
