Paul Rentler uses a mix of collaged images and textures to create his compositions. He was recently tasked by My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way to help create art to pitch his new comic imprint DC’s Young Animal. Well, Rentler’s efforts did help green-light the project and this month he had the pleasure of creating special variant cover collages for all of DC Animal’s titles including this week’s Shade the Changing Girl #3.(top image)
In addition to his artwork, Mr. Rentler also plays in the band Feature Films, and his band Surfer.
