Sana Takeda is a Japanese artist who’s been making big waves here in the U.S.(and elsewhere) with her intricately detailed work on the creator-owned comic, Monstress. Marjorie Liu, the writer on the series, first collaborated with Takeda on the critically acclaimed X-23 Ongoing Volume 1. Monstress #7 hit stands a couple weeks ago, so there’s still plenty of time for new readers to get caught up!
Takeda also finds time to draw variant covers for other titles, including this week’s Wayward #17(top).
