Massimo Carnevale is an Italian illustrator who got his professional career rolling with various covers for the weekly magazine Skorpio in the early 90’s.  He made a name for himself in America when he started illustrating covers for Brian K. Vaughan’s popular DC/Vertigo series, Y The Last Man(2002-08).

Carnavale is currently painting covers for Dark Horse’s Aliens: Defiance series, with issue 3 hitting stands this week(top image).
