Sadly, we lost another legend this last week.
One of the modern greats of comics & animation, Darwyn Cooke, has left us way too soon. I posted some of Darwyn’s work before on our sister site, but that just scraped the surface, so we’re going to go back and look at even more of his amazing art to celebrate his life and legacy in comics. RIP

It’s been five or six days now, still can’t believe it. Loved his art style.
My very favorite comic book artist ever. His confident clear lines, and the ability to convey emotion from just a few ink strokes. His Parker books are unparalleled. He will be sadly missed.
As a fashion illustrator, I’ve always been drawn to comic book art not only because of the exquisite anatomy but it’s sense of style. He had a variety of art styles but that fashion edge was always there. Bravo!
A timeless, exquisite style. Very sad news.
Damn… what a legend. His style is so refined. He was (and will continue to be) a true inspiration.
