1-fqlq6pN5cr_1rLXb-Hd9lQ

Illustrator Michael Buchino has been art directing, designing and illustrating play posters for Portland Center Stage since 2008, and he has offered an inside look at his creative process on two of them.

We’ve heard your pleas for more process-related content here at Illustration Age, so we wanted to pass along a couple of his posts for your enjoyment and inspiration. He talks about his general approach to a poster illustration, his sources of inspiration and most importantly the challenges he faced and how he dealt with them.

See his process for his A Streetcar Named Desire poster here.

See his process for his Each & Every Thing poster here.
