“My work talks about the beauty and bodies of the unconventional people that love who they are and don’t care about what others say about them. That’s the kind of people I love to draw and photograph. I’m specially in love with plus size women and that’s why I like to draw them so much. I believe that it is my duty as an artist to contribute to this cause by drawing and painting all those people. It is my way to show them love and respect.
I love to mix different media like photo, drawing and digital color in a way that looks like they are fighting for the observer’s attention rather than working together. I also like to play with a little bit of randomness, letting chance and (perhaps) fate play a small role in every artwork.” – Antonio Páramo

I recognize one of the drawings as a pretty evident tracing of one of Gabi Gregg’s photos. I wonder what the artist’s relationship is to the women he draws…?
Hi creaturetype,
I’m Antonio Páramo. Of course she is Gabi, and as a body positive person I love her blog and work.
I always tag the models I draw as you can see on my social media accounts, she even liked the drawing on Instagram.
Love these!
Nice post!

Lovely artwork!
I love this! Kind of reminds me of Disclosure’s album art
