Lo Cole. The Serious and the Snazzy.

LoCole Coca

Boy, do I love the work of illustrator and printmaker Lo Cole. As the headline suggests it is by turns serious and smart and snazzy. A little bit of alliteration is in keeping with the body of work that at first glance is pleasing to the eye, but on a second look the nice flat colors and unthreatening shapes betray astute takes on important issues and a series of complex patterns. The usual Etsy shop and the unusual Imaginary Press shop.
