The Very Neat Yet Bizarre Imagery of Kimiaki Yaegashi

Do you like pizza? I like pizza. Kimiaki Yaegashi aka Okimi also likes pizza…. and ladies in bikinis. Kimiaki Yaegashi is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Tokyo, Japan. His work is a wonderful combination of characters with a simple style and colour palette. These characters are often placed in various situations and interactions that, to my mind, most likely resemble the dreams of adolescent boys. Kimiaki Yaegashi will be participating in the upcoming Pictoplasma Conference in Berlin this year and has a solo exhibition as part of there character walk.

I fell in love with a pencil. I hold him tightly every day and take him everywhere I go. I had no choice but to become an illustrator. You can see more of my work at

Andrea, Somehow I missed this. I just posted about Kimiaki’s work as well. I like your post better.
