Lesley Barnes is Watching You

I make it a policy to try and not post about an illustrator or artist more than once. Another internal rule I have for myself is to not see something on another creative site and go “yeah. I’m gonna post that too”. I am breaking both of those rules for Glasgow based illustrator and animator Lesley Barnes. Her work always amazes and delights, but this contribution to The Graphic Canon about George Orwell’s 1984 is a sight to behold, intricate, complex, finely crafted and unique. Like the novel itself, this is an instant classic.
