It brings to mind the recent capsizing of the Carnival Corp.’s Costa Concordia off Italy’s Tuscan coast, it also reminds me how ‘news today; forgotten tomorrow”, and how as people we have become so desensitized to tragedy. It is a sad reality, and as an artist myself I cant help but appreciate being reminded of my own humanity through the work of others so that I can take a moment to reflect on those things I take for granted. Thank you for sharing.
