Billy Norrby’s Powers of Prediction

Billy Norrby

Billy Norrby’s paintings are surreal, with the occasional touch of fantasy. What I found striking, when looking over his work, is that this image from his April 2011 gallery show could easily be interpreted as a visual painting of the Occupy Wall St. movement, 5 months early. Perhaps life does imitate art after all.
