AOI Presents Images 36: Best of British Illustration

I often wish I was in London, in my mind’s eye I’m having a pint with Terrance Stamp, rooting on the mighty Tottenham Hotspur with J.K. Rowling, dinner with Helen Mirren, grocery shopping with Paul Weller…this month however I wish I was there to see The Association of Illustrators Images 36: The Best of British Illustration exhibition at Somerset House. A stunning roster of British illustrators are represented at the exhibition, including the folks I’ve featured here (clockwise from the upper left) the legendary Brian Grimwood, the amazing Miss Led, the fantastic Satoshi Kambayashi and talented Judy Lumley. A special congratulations is in order to silver medalist and IA editor Steve Simpson. The show runs through October 28. London in Autumn? I can dream can’t I?
