Rough Trade. The Financial Illustrations of Daniel Pudles.

As any Master of the Universe will tell you, the world of high finance is a a tough place to earn a living. Yeah, whatever hotshot, try drawing the often arcane and inane world of the economics. Daniel Pudles is carving out a bold and alternative view in the often boring sea of financial illustration and design. His work is reminiscent of protest movement woodcuts through the ages, which is why it is so fascinating to see this style of visual communication in the service of financial reporting and commentary. These pieces are for Bloomberg Business Week and The Guardian.
