Art Lien. Eyewitness to History.

I wrote a post last year about Art Lien, Court Artist. With the close of oral arguments on the Affordable Care Act at the Supreme Court this week, I think it’s time to revisit this fascinating illustrator and his unique body of work.

I totally agree! Words like remarkable, fanstastical, awesome, and amazing are thrown around quite a bit on Illustration Age. Art Lien, like other courtroom artists show “remarkable skill” as you put it, and put that skill on display in the moment and under pressure while providing a valuable service to the public and to posterity.

The next time I’m in traffic court I may just hire a courtroom artist to record my shame.

    Cheers.
