Sculptures in front of Paintings

Sculptures come out of Paintings

Shintaro pushes the boundaries and truly works outside of the box, mixing 2d and 3d media in an incredibly novel and compelling way. He paints in two dimensions, then paints a sculpture that sits in the painting. Where many artists attempt to create 3 dimensions from 2, he creates 2 from 3.

That’s amazing. I love the compositions and narrative — they’re equal to the complexity of the art itself.
